WELCOME TO SPROWSTON JUNIOR SCHOOL

On behalf of all the children, staff and governors, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our school website. We are all very proud of our school and we strongly believe that working in partnership with parents is a key ingredient for success. 

In June 2023, Ofsted commented: ‘Pupils demonstrate good behaviour in classrooms, on the playground and around the school. They respond well to the teachers' high expectations for their learning.’ Our aim is that the children enjoy their education, building a love of learning and a determination to succeed. We want all our children to reach their potential.

We look to educate the 'whole child' though an interesting and enjoyable curriculum, putting rich language classrooms at the forefront of our teaching.  

Staff and pupils ensure that our school is a welcoming and warm environment that enables success, by working closely together and building solid foundations.
